THE VALLE D’AOSTA RALLY
The track, which has its start in Saint-Marcel, runs uphill along the “Strada della Collina” (the hill road) to Champ Premier. It then leads downhill to the bottom of the valley of Pieiller, and arrives to Pommier (Fénis). This narrow and winding road really puts the drivers’ abilities to the test and makes for a winning show. An excellent place from which to enjoy the race is from the lawns near the village of Pra Premier: the gap between the walls of the houses makes everyone shiver every time a car passes! The rally is beyond doubt an exciting experience, though it is recommended, for one’s personal safety, to keep at a safe distance. |
